# Send email using MailerSend
> Learn how to send an email using React Email and the MailerSend Node.js SDK.
## 1. Install dependencies
Get the [react-email](https://www.npmjs.com/package/react-email) package and the [MailerSend Node.js SDK](https://www.npmjs.com/package/mailersend).
```sh npm theme={"theme":{"light":"github-light","dark":"vesper"}}
npm install mailersend react-email
```
```sh yarn theme={"theme":{"light":"github-light","dark":"vesper"}}
yarn add mailersend react-email
```
```sh pnpm theme={"theme":{"light":"github-light","dark":"vesper"}}
pnpm add mailersend react-email
```
## 2. Create an email using React
Start by building your email template in a `.jsx` or `.tsx` file.
```tsx email.tsx theme={"theme":{"light":"github-light","dark":"vesper"}}
import * as React from 'react';
import { Html, Button } from "react-email";
export function Email(props) {
const { url } = props;
return (
);
}
```
## 3. Convert to HTML and send email
Import the email template you just built, convert into an HTML string, and use the MailerSend SDK to send it.
```tsx theme={"theme":{"light":"github-light","dark":"vesper"}}
import { render } from 'react-email';
import { MailerSend, EmailParams, Sender, Recipient } from "mailersend";
import { Email } from './email';
const mailerSend = new MailerSend({
apiKey: process.env.MAILERSEND_API_KEY || '',
});
const emailHtml = await render();
const sentFrom = new Sender("you@yourdomain.com", "Your name");
const recipients = [
new Recipient("your@client.com", "Your Client")
];
const emailParams = new EmailParams()
.setFrom(sentFrom)
.setTo(recipients)
.setSubject("This is a Subject")
.setHtml(emailHtml)
await mailerSend.email.send(emailParams);
